Following a master’s degree in contemporary art, I wanted to take on the challenge to express my theories of aesthetics “Illuminated Time” and “Without Words”. A place where the “linguistic” capacity of images took over completely over the conceptual narrative of the film. A different way to write. But the theme arose from contemplating the sea, which produced a double inspiration. On one side, it drove me to a reflection about the aesthetic discourse on the “sight” in art. On the other, it submerged me in a subjective experience.
Looking at the sea, feeling the sea, listening to the sea were the only things that relieved me from the pain of losing my mother. Like a return to her, to feeling her breathing.
