Sara Bonaventura is a visual artist with an MA in Art History, who intertwines her digi or analog filming with frame by frame animation and found footage. She has been collaborating with performers and musicians, like Carla Bozulich, vjing, directing clips and unconventional ads.
Her works have been screened in Italy and abroad; recently thru Another experiment by Women Film Festival and at Other Cinema, at the ATA Gallery in San Francisco.
She has been selected for residencies at Frans Masereel Centrum (iBelgium) and in Fundación Botin with Joan Jonas ( Spain), she won the Veneto Region Award at the 10th Lago Film Fest.
