Alexzenia Davis – Writer and Poet
Composing poetry that stems from both the love of music and the written word, Alexzenia has constructed a body of fresh and creative work that is honest, warm and exceptionally concise. Her first book “Would You Love Me?” emphasizes the interrogative style that Davis champions. In 2013, Davis published her second book “New-York-A-Tude” which is her first compilation. A graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, Davis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in communication arts & journalism.
Jesse Russell Brooks – Filmmaker and Video Artist
Graduate of Virginia State University, Brooks holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English literature. He is an established theater stage manager On and Off Broadway with credits that include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Who’s Tommy, Jesus in a Beehive and Walt Disney’s The Lion King. A practitioner of video art and poetry film, Brooks exhibits work frequently and internationally. He directed the Emmy nominated documentary series Lost Legends of the West and has also received A Telly Award for music video directing.
